First off, I would like to say that my experience with your service has been perfect.  Great load times and excellent server configuration.

Noticing that other hosting companies are including CMS compatibility in their features list, I thought it would be nice to start a list of content management systems that clients have successfully installed on your servers.

So far I have successfully setup Joomla and Drupal on your servers without a hitch.
That would perhaps be a very good idea to put in the A2 Hosting wiki and start a list.  http://wiki.a2hosting.com - We do have Fantastico which auto-installs quite a few CMS packages already.  http://www.a2hosting.com/fantastico_hosting.php
It would be great if the latest version of Wordpress was added, ie, 2.2.1

Hi there,

Setting up drupal or joomla is trivial using Fantastico...

However, for the case of drupal, I seem to have some problems getting clean URLs to work.  When I click on the link that says "run the clean url test" in Drupal's administration panel, I get the following error message:-
---------------------------------------------------
Not Found
The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
----------------------------------------------------

I suspect that it has something to do with the .htaccess file but searching for a solution via google or A2hosting's knowledge base does not seem to yield any result.

I suspect that it has to do with .htaccess file because on drupal.org, this issue was extensively discussed and it seems that different web hosts have different server configuration and therefore the drupal .htaccess file is different for different servers.

Anyone has any idea how to get the .htaccess sorted out correctly on A2Hosting.com ?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Hobbes
