Detailed Description:

Dear A2 Hosting Customers,

The following notification is ONLY for customers who use our Shared,
Reseller, or Semi-Dedicated hosting services.

We will be decommissioning the MailScanner and ASSP spam plugins and reverting back to the SpamAssassin system used by cPanel. Previous to cPanel version 11, there were several problems using the default cPanel mail configuration that caused the decision to be made to use a 3rd party mail spam solution.

Unfortunately in many cases this solution has caused more problems than
solutions. cPanel 11 contains vastly improved spam protection features
which now make these 3rd party solutions unnecessary, resource and support which now make these 3rd party solutions unnecessary, resource and support intensive.

The current ASSP and MailScanner configuration icons will be removed from the control panel and replaced by the new SpamAssassin icon.

Unfortunately due to this change your current email whitelist will be lost and you may need to recreate them using the new system. Please go ahead and make sure you backup your whitelist entries so that you can easily enter them into the new system if you find it necessary.

If you experience a problem after the server has been upgraded, please
file a ticket with the support system so we can track and respond to
your request.

We highly suggest you check out our customer forum thread for any
updates pertaining to this maintenance.
