Hi everybody,

I recently subscribed to a2hosting and I am very pleased so far.

I have one question though and I don't know where to look for the answer.

We have 2 server machines that are accessible through ip in the internet. They are in different parts of the world and they are not hosted by a2hosting.

The question is: Is it possible to give them symbolic names such as srv1.mydomain.com and and srv2.mydomain.doc assuming mydomain.com is the domain I have
        a) In another registrar?
        b) In a2hosting (assumming I tranfer mydomain here)

Thanks in advance for any insight

Hi,

I am replying to myself for the sake of the archives...

The answer is to submit a ticket to the a2hosting with the related information such as ip, name.

If you have already a domain in a a2hosting they will add the extra entries to your domain so you can have "machine_name.mydomain.com" resolve nicely even if it is not directly hosted by a2hosting.
