Hello all:
I'm not a current customer of A2, and am seeking advice. I currently support several clients regarding all their network, computer hardware and OS issues, etc. I do not have a help desk system, I'm just using email to keep track of things, and would like to use a hosted system instead. I read today that A2 offers the following systems via Fantastico Deluxe:
Crafty Syntax Live Help
Help Center Live
osTicket
PHP Support Tickets
Support Logic Helpdesk
Support Services Manager
So, I have a few questions.
Is it indeed possible to add such functionality via any of the shared hosting plans, i.e. Discount or Small Biz without incurring any additional costs? If so this seems like a very good deal.
Can anyone recommend any of the above systems? I have not used any of them. I currently have 4 clients, but it's possible (hopefully!) that this number will grow, but I would guess a maximum of 10-20 clients is all I could handle.
Lastly, is the database data backed up regularly? Can I get an export of all my data to make a personal backup of my own? This data will be very important to me so I would feel much better if I could make my own backups, even if it's just a simple flat text file, csv, etc.
Thanks much!!
