I have both a shared and a dedicated server. The the shared service (http://www.energychaser.com) is just for marketing content. My dedicated server is my application server but is located in a sub-domain of energychaser.com.

Question:
Can I get one master SSL certificate for the entire energychaser.com domain even though my shared and my dedicated systems are at different IPs/servers?
Due to the nature of SSL certificates, each is only valid for one specific domain.  http://energychaser.com would require a different SSL certificate that http://www.energychaser.com or http://subdomain.energychaser.com

There are such things are wildcard SSL certificates that can provide coverage for all subdomains but they would have to be purchased from a 3rd party provider and cost considerably more than a regular SSL certificate.
Thanks, that was the answer I was looking for.
