An issue has been identified with the Fantastico script that is used to upgrade to Gallery 2.2.3 We recommend that hold off on upgrading to Gallery 2.2.3 using Fantastico until a patch for this issue can be obtained.
The .htaccess file is not modifided correctly. You will receive this error:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
To fix this error erase the contents of your .htaccess file that is located in the folder you have Gallery installed in. Leave the .htaccess file intact, just remove the contents.
Enter the URL to your Gallery installation and you will be able to continue with the upgrade.
