Please note that in an effort to mitigate spam, we are now using ASSP as a spam solution on all new servers. Due to the nature of ASSP, we cannot offer port 25 SSL SMTP. However, SSL protected SMTP is available on port 465.
Certain mail clients, most notably mail.app on Mac OS X, will default to an SSL connection on port 25. Simply change the port to 465, and you'll be all set.
Please note that this affects only users on www26 + and newer dedicated servers that have requested ASSP. A2hosting reserves the right to roll this technology out to older servers as conditions warrant.
