In an effort to continue improving our services, we will be performing regular automated error checking and optimizations of MySQL databases on our shared servers.
Please note: this will be a check *only* -- we will *not* do automated table recoveries or other corrective actions. In the event a problem is discovered, the user owning the database will be contacted to determine the appropriate course of action.
We will begin the rollout of this feature on a2s24 (MySQL 4) and a2s22 (MySQL 5) this weekend (Sept 22-23), with other servers following in the next few weeks until all shared servers are updated.
As always, please open a ticket if you notice anything unusual.
